The seven 'ship's prows', representing seven seas, seventh heaven etc, are wood, painted black. There is no natural black out in the sand dunes around Hvide Sande - black is an alien colour to the area, so I have made pictures of Cyklus in other colours. In this set of four I have based the colours on a poster by American graphic artist Paul Rand. Again, colours that have no connection with the dunes of Hvide Sande.
